My love for travel began when I moved overseas to pursue a European basketball career. In 2007, my wife and I packed up our lives and moved to Prague, and that experience fundamentally changed how we see the world. Living abroad opened our eyes to new cultures, languages, and ways of life, and it ignited a passion for exploration that has never faded. While based in Europe, we took every opportunity to travel, crossing borders often and discovering how meaningful and transformative travel can be. When we later started a family, we made a conscious decision: travel would not stop it would become part of our normal rhythm of life.

Our oldest son’s first major trip was to Indonesia when he was just six months old, and from there, travel became a regular part of our summers and family story. Over the years, we’ve explored the world together, bringing our boys to places like Spain, France, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Iceland, Korea, England, Ireland, Nepal, and many others. Because of this, I understand travel not just as an itinerary or checking a location off of a bucket list, but as something more, something that shapes children, stretches comfort zones, strengthens families, and creates shared memories that last a lifetime
Family travel has never meant choosing comfort over challenge for us — it’s meant learning, growing, and doing hard things together. I’ve always looked for ways to get my kids moving, hiking, and engaging with the places we visit, while also pushing myself through experiences that challenge me. Whether it’s riding a mountain bike through the red clay trails of Sedona, Arizona, navigating the smooth sandstone of Moab, Utah, hiking through the surreal red valleys of Cappadocia, Turkey, or wandering the misty paths of the Wicklow Mountains in Ireland, or just sitting in awe overlooking a glacier in Iceland, I’m drawn to places that invite you to move, explore, and be challenged. I love helping others experience that same sense of discovery, and I’d be thrilled to help you take the first step toward an adventure of your own.
My personal experiences allow me to plan trips with a deep understanding of what makes travel meaningful — whether that’s navigating international travel with kids, finding experiences that go beyond tourist highlights, or creating trips that balance adventure, rest, and connection. I am excited to share my global perspective shaped by lived experience, on top of the research I will also do. Travel has been one of the greatest teachers in my life — and I love helping others experience that same sense of wonder, growth, and discovery.
